There is a difference between holding loosely to beliefs where Scripture is not clear and holding to demonstrably false beliefs where the Bible is abundantly clear.
I believe there is room for disagreement on what defines a local church, and different sets of beliefs on what it means to "join." But I believe that being part of a local church that teaches/equips, edifies, and worships together regularly is essential.
There are quite a few very disturbing findings in that survey.
