From the first time I saw the first episode and enduring Jenkins ramblings, I knew this show was gonna be a disaster and a tool of Satan to deceive many to believing a false christ. Satan works most in false Christianity in these last days. It's disgustingly disturbing how many are deceived into believing this show is legit.

I never watch man's fleshly interpretation of Jesus.

Wow. I had no idea it was written by Mormons. Does that mean the show will follow him once he comes to America? That might be semi-interesting. I have no idea how they square that circle (they do have a mighty fine choir tho).

Thank you for the info! I did not know it was based on Mormon teachings. Good grief. You would have thought they could be honest about it. I only watched one episode, the very first one of the first season. I had such a hard time understanding their accented speech that I haven't watched it since.

I need some help please. Our SS teacher said last Sunday that he was planning on taking the class to see “The Chosen” when it rolls out in theaters. I sent this article that the teacher and half the class. I have had one respond with a video clip from Jenkins explaining that the “quote” did not come from Book of Mormon but from the gospels. When you look at quote from Book of Mormon it “seems” close to what some translations say. Do you have something in your archives about this show that can be directly linked to the Book of Mormon? It would help me hopefully to open some eyes in the class. Thank you for all you do in keeping us informed! Keep up the good work!!

He says that Jesus said "I am the law of Moses" in the gospels? I'm not familiar with that quote in the gospels. I am familiar with it in Mormon teaching, though.

One lady sent me a screenshot of that section from Book of Mormon but it does not say “I am the law of Moses” but says “I am the law and the light....” Could there be other translations. Also if you have a way I could direct message you however you prefer. I don’t mean to frustrate you I just have to be able to respond and need the right tools. I heard your rant on season one and it was so helpful for me but will they take time to listen?? Probably not. Their minds are made up I’m afraid!!

The Law is the Law of Moses. There is no other law that the Scriptures reference. And nowhere in the bible does it say that Jesus *is* the law of Moses. Jesus is the law giver, but he is not the law. The law condemns, Jesus saves.

That helps thank you!!

Click on that link and listen to my podcast on the first season of the chosen. It is absolute and utter trash but it is subtle trash. And Jenkins now affirms Mormons as believers. There was another podcast with a lady asking him some very hard questions and she embarrassed him pretty good. It's not the historical Jesus. It's an Americanized version of Jesus.
