The cult that is known as Bethel Church in Redding, CA has been on a non-stop mission since one of the worship leaders lost her two-year-old daughter this past Saturday. Bethel, a charismatic New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) church teaches the heresy that in modern times, apostles, prophets, and healers exist in the church just like the original prophets and apostles of the early church. Despite not one shred of evidence of the continuation of any spiritual gift that is even remotely similar to those of the early church, the movement is growing and gaining in popularity today -- leading many astray.
