BREAKING: Federal Judge Rules Pennsylvania Governor's Shutdown Orders Unconstitutional

A federal judge has ruled in favor of Butler, Fayette, Greene and Washington counties in a lawsuit against Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf's and his cross-dressing Health Secretary, Rachel Levine's shutdown orders which forced all "non-life-sustaining" businesses to close and limited social gatherings unconstitutional.

WPXI reports that the judge said the actions of Wolf and Levine were taken with “good intention of addressing a public health emergency,” but they were unconstitutional.

“The Constitution sets certain lines that may not be crossed, even in an emergency,” the judge’s opinion read. It went on to say those lines were crossed.

U.S. District Judge William Stickman IV ruled in favor of individual and business plaintiffs, and he dismissed the county governments from the case. Individuals who won the favorable ruling include U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa.; state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-Butler; and various businesses including hair salons and the Starlight Drive-In, according to WTAE.
