I know a woman who says she's been a "Christian" for 24 years & declares she is "spiritually mature" while stating, no one shared the gospel with her when she was saved, has been under false teaching all of her life, has had idols constantly since she's been a "Christian," has an "ever-present sin of pride & legalism," is extremely offended when I've shared Scripture with her to show her error, said a pastor friend of hers told her he "couldn't help her in her unbelief & she needed to look to the cross" & today she says she has no idea what he means by her "unbelief" & yet another pastor, knowing all of that, still believes that woman is a "Christian." How is it that men standing behind the pulpit cannot discern between true & false converts? Or, do they not care that wolves are among the sheep?

Just the title to this article is wrong on so many levels. This is so obviously man-centric and completely not Biblical. The idea that Jesus chooses anyone because of their own qualifications or because God thinks they are awesome is ridiculous and nullifies the need for Jesus to purchase our redemption. No mention at all of repentance or submission to Jesus as Lord. It's the old " God thinks you're great and wants to bless you so much" approach instead of the correct " you are a sinner who needs a saviour and that savior is Jesus" approach. God doesn't save us because we are awesome, God saves us because He is awesome!

Very well written article. While reading it, the scripture in Acts comes to mind when Paul, after being followed by the girl with the "python" spirit, a spirit of divination, turned and rebuked the spirit. He commanded in the name of Jesus Christ, that the spirit leave the girl. The spirit left and the men who were making their money from her "prophesying" decided to destroy Paul.

These so called “Christian” pastors who take license with the word of God…is absolutely frightening! Don’t they realize that…not only every deed..will be brought into judgment….but also every idle word we speak! “There is no fear of God before their eyes!” Romans 3:18 “It’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God!” Hebrews 10:31 God help them!

So, it's as the old, worn out saying, "There are many paths to God." Not.

I see here, this David Bennett fellow states "he advocates for a positive moral vision of biblical sexuality." What does THAT mean?
