Woke Children's Bible Author, Shane Claiborne Says Problem With Tower of Babel Was Lack of Ethnic Diversity

To heck with biblical doctrine and proper contextual teaching of the Scriptures. That's so old-skool. What we need are woke activists who can read the modern cultural zeitgeist into the text and contextualize it in a way that advances our cultural agenda.

Yeah, that's what we need. And Shane Claiborne, one of the authors of the new children’s “bible” titled “God’s Stories, is going to fulfill that role for us.

Claiborne, a social activist who has appeared in several religious-themed movies, said in an interview recently contrasting the Tower of Babel with Pentecost that the issue with Babel was that "everybody was the same" and it was a "monoculture." On the other hand, Pentecost was all about diversity and the Book of Acts is a "celebration of diversity."
