"The Real Scandal of Jesus Lies in the Cracked Nipples of a 14yo," Son of Former SBC Prez Posts
Journalist Jonathan Merritt is the son of former Southern Baptist Convention president, James Merritt, and is closely tied to feminists and pro-LGBTQ activists like Beth Moore and Jen Hatmaker. Merritt is famous for being outed by another homosexual who says they had a one-night-stand sexual encounter at a Christian conference several years ago. Since then, Merritt has openly advocated for a sodomy-inclusive Church, feminism, and is a strong proponent of cultural Marxism.
Jonathan Merritt, who also supports transvestites handling preschool children in public libraries for “special playtime,” has repeatedly come out in defense of “Christian” sodomy. Celebrating pride month, Merritt released a video stating — in direct opposition to what the Scriptures say in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 — that all of the sexually immoral will receive the Kingdom of God despite the fact that they continue in rebellion against God and says that gay and "trans" people are welcome at God's table.
So it should come as no surprise that Jonathan Merritt would publish a video of one of his "church" members desecrating the birth of Jesus and turning it into a disgusting and irreverent portrayal of feminist activism. This video that Merritt published features Genay Jackson's absurd notion that somehow, because Mary had to give birth to and breastfeed Jesus, that women should be allowed in the pulpit despite God's commands otherwise.
"And I think if the vulgarity of birth is not honestly preached," she says, "by men who carry power but not burden, who carry privilege but not labor, who carry authority but not submission, then it should not be preached at all." She continues, "Because the real scandal of the birth of God lies in the cracked nipples of a fourteen-year-old and not in the sermons of ministers who say women are too delicate to lead."
