The Idolatry of Feminism
Feminism, like homosexuality, is one of the signs that God is judging a nation. When people turn away from God, apart from Christ, God gives them over to their sinful hearts. They rebel against God. Though they know Him, they refuse to acknowledge Him and they refuse to worship Him, instead, loving their own wicked deeds above and beyond God.
It is the very first commandment that God gave to Moses -- thou shalt have no other Gods before me. This should not be interpreted as though God simply desired to be the highest-ranking over and above other gods. The phrase, "before me," means that God despised all other gods and commanded them out of His sight altogether.
Today, the idolatry of self is rampant -- even in our churches. We want to do what we want to do, despite what God's Word has to say about it. Consider, for example, popular female Bible teacher, Beth Moore -- despite what 1 Corinthians 14:34 has to say about it -- insists she will continue to teach and preach in churches.
Beth Moore has exposed herself as full-on egalitarian feminazi — that is, one who rejects the biblical model for the roles of men and women — and has launched a tirade against biblical womanhood. She has practically embraced homosexuality and has joined hands with gay activists a number of times for various causes — usually for opposing the biblical view on something. She has refused to denounce homosexuality as sinful and says that doing so is “exceeding Scripture.”
She has joined the chorus on the liberal left in denouncing white people and always assuming the worst about straight, white males. She promotes unity with well known false teachers like Joyce Meyer and has even declared that spending time in God’s Word is not the same thing as spending time with God.
She’s a mocker and has referred to those who go to bed early on Saturday nights for church as “trolls.” And she has made a habit of using acronyms for cuss words to “rebuke” her “fellow leaders.” Bottom line, she has no respect for the authority of God’s Word.
Beth Moore is the clearest example of one who has been given over to the idolatry of feminism. In this episode, Ed rants about the general nature of women’s ministries and the encroachment of feminism in the churches.
