The George Soros Funded Transformation of Evangelical Churches

Women’s immigration group in partnership with Soros-funded National Immigration Forum uses coloring sheets for children, family journaling projects, community meals and Small Group Study to promote theological transformation of Evangelical churches.
Baptist Press promotes a Pro-Immigrant Group run by the George Soros funded National Immigration Forum.
Southern Baptist leaders have a history of tweeting George Soros funded progressive organizations like Media Matters and pro-immigration groups like the National Immigration Forum.
Welcome. is a women’s group promoting evangelical involvement in immigration. Its website is welcomeimmigrants.org. That website’s Internet Registry information shows World Relief as its administrative contact, and an email contact address with the National Immigration Forum. The National Immigration Forum is a group funded by George Soros.
Baptist Press promoted this women’s mission group in a story released September 12, 2019. Baptist Press detailed how Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty staffers explored the border at the invitation of an “online community of women” engaged in the immigration issue. The Baptist Press story links to welcomingimmigrants.org.
The website’s About information explains the women’s group is a collaboration between World Relief, the National Immigration Forum and a Facebook group founded by Ann Voskamp and Vickie Reddy. According to the site, “Welcome. is a collaborative project run in partnership with:
“World Relief, the relief and development arm of the National Association of Evangelicals.
“The National Immigration Forum, a non-profit working to find positive immigration solutions with business, law enforcement and faith leaders.
‘We Welcome, a digital community of Christians dedicated to welcoming immigrants and refugees founded by Ann Voskamp and Vickie Reddy.”
A review of the Internet registration for the Welcome. website, verifies the site was registered by World Relief and the Soros-funded National Immigration Forum. The National Immigration Forum (NIF) received millions of its funding from George Soros. (For links on the Evangelical Immigration Table and the National Immigration Forum to George Soros, see reports from National Review, The Institute on Religion and Democracy’s blog Juicy Ecumenism, the Center for Immigration Studies and The Christian Post.)
The online group component founders include Ann Voskamp and Vickie Reddy. Reddy’s husband leads The Justice Conference, which is also associated with World Relief, and promotes Social Justice. According to the Justice Conference website, “In August 2014, Mark and Vickie Reddy accepted the invitation from World Relief to take on leadership of The Justice Conference, and have led the past 3 conferences in Chicago.” In fact, the 2015 conference featured progressive Democratic thinker Dr. Cornel West.
Here is the Internet registration data as of Sept. 12, 2019:
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, The National Immigration Forum “receives millions of dollars from Soros groups, including support for its infiltration campaigns directed at evangelicals, police, and business.”
Baptist Press described the group as “committed to creating a culture of Christ-like welcome that transcends views on immigration policy or politics.” Two ERLC employees, “were invited down by an online community of women — known as Welcome.”
Baptist Press did not report on who paid for or how the trip was funded.
This is not the first time Southern Baptist entities promoted a Soros-funded political propaganda arm promoting immigration. As previously reported, in 2017, the ERLC tweeted out Soros-funded immigration videos made by the group Christiandreamers.us. Later, Baptist Press published a story on one of the ChristianDreamers.us leaders.
