Every so often, The Gospel Coalition births yet another mouthpiece who says the quiet part out loud. Meet Jim Pocta, a licensed counselor, local PCA elder, and, of course, Gospel Coalition contributor turned apologist for homosexual surrogacy.
According to Pocta, calling out homosexuals for purchasing children through the rented wombs of desperate women is not just unhelpful—it’s unloving, hypocritical, and gospel-less.
There it is—another installment of the therapeutic gospel, where sin isn’t confronted, but coddled. Pocta wants us to believe that two men trafficking a child to simulate a family is less egregious than a pastor daring to publicly oppose it.
In Pocta’s theological playpen, it’s not sin that grieves God—it’s judgment. And apparently, if you were ever "trans" and "felt hated," you’ve now earned permanent immunity from biblical scrutiny.
