Pastors, Ditch the Metrosexual Persona: God Calls You to be a Faithful Shepherd and Steward of His Word

As the shadows lengthen and the veil between worlds grows thin, a new and terrifying force has emerged from the depths of the church. It is the rise of the metrosexual pastor, a creature of preening vanity and superficiality, whose hunger for attention and adoration knows no bounds.

Gone are the days of humble, self-effacing leaders who sought only to serve their flock. In their place stands a new breed of pastor—one who values style over substance, image over integrity. With their perfectly coiffed hair, impeccably tailored suits, and designer sunglasses, they strut through the hallowed halls of the church, radiating an aura of entitlement and narcissism.

But beneath the polished exterior lies a sinister heart. The metrosexual pastor is not content to merely be admired for their appearance—they also hunger for power, for control, for the ability to shape the minds and hearts of their followers to suit their own selfish desires. And they will stop at nothing to achieve this, using every tactic at their disposal - from manipulation and coercion to outright deception - to bend their congregants to their will.

Sadly, that goes for their followers, too. They are the ones who crave not the solid nourishment of God's Word, but the empty calories of personality and flattery. They hunger for preachers who will tickle their ears and indulge their every whim, rather than challenging them to live according to the holy standards of the Bible.
