No Gospel Allowed at Black Lives Matter Protest, Cops Try to Make Evangelists Leave
During a Black Lives Matter anti-police protest in Clovis, NM, cops threaten to arrest open-air preachers for preaching during the protest and ask them to "leave the property" for "inciting a riot."
While there is absolutely no law on the books against open-air preaching that states someone has to leave simply because a police officer subjectively asserts a violation of "keeping the peace." The job of the police officer isn't to arrest the man lawfully practicing his First Amendment rights, but to arrest those who break the law in response to it. These police officers, as usual, have it backward as they cave to the leftist mob who basically owns them and their jobs right now.
While Christians who actually care about seeing the gospel go forth despite the chaos and anarchy taking place in cities large and small around the country are being harassed and their rights being trampled, other social-justice churches are instead calling their congregations together to join these protestors and chant their Marxist slogans.
Black Lives Matter -- a pro-sodomy, pro-feminist, trans-affirming, anti-Christ political movement -- is clearly a movement the Church should not be aligning herself with. But Southern Baptist churches, including the president, JD Greear's Summit Church, have now all but become branches of these movements.
