Meet Evangelicalism's Newest Children's "Bible" - The God Who Never Judges
One would think that the entire purpose of writing a children’s Bible was to simplify the language without distorting its meaning, so young children could have a foundation upon which to begin understanding God’s word. Back in the day, they were meant to plant faith.
But now, it seems the only purpose behind them is to destroy it.
I caught wind of this new book being peddled as a “children’s bible,” called The Just Love Story Bible, and I can almost literally hear the serpent in Eden whispering, “Did God really say?” Only this time, the whisper comes printed in full color, wrapped in rainbows and marketed as love.
We’ve reached an age where adults no longer blush to rewrite God’s Word, and the ink dries on heresy sold to toddlers. Two self-described pro-LGBTQ pro-abortion “ministers,” Jacqui Lewis and Shannon Daley-Harris—who have ties to mainstream Evangelicals and Southern Baptists, yes—in their enlightened zeal, have given us a God who never judges, never disciplines, never says “no.”
They call it justice. I call it blasphemy with a bedtime-story smile.
Here, Daley-Harris (the hyphenated name alone demonstrates the man-hating feminism in her) explains why she and Lewis wrote this “bible.”
