Imagine living in a world so consumed by political hysteria that some women are now permanently sterilizing themselves because of an election outcome. In response to Donald Trump’s presidency—or the mere fear of what they believe it represents—certain self-proclaimed feminists have decided that the ultimate protest is to remove their ability to bear children.
It’s as if they’re trying to one-up themselves in a game of who can commit the most self-destructive act while still calling it “empowerment.”
One “OnlyFans” model decided to make her sterilization a public spectacle, blaming Trump’s administration for what she described as her “forced” decision. Forced? Was there some mysterious executive order mandating tubal ligations for disgruntled feminists?
Of course not.
The truth is simpler and much less flattering. This is a self-inflicted judgment driven by overblown fearmongering and an almost comical misunderstanding of how government works. She may know how to monetize a camera angle while scantily clad, but her grasp of civics seems about as firm as wet tissue paper.
And then there’s the rhetoric around this verdict—pregnancy described as “worse than death,” as if the natural process of bringing life into the world is some grotesque medieval punishment.
What exactly are they afraid of? That abortion will be banned nationwide tomorrow? That their “birth control” will vanish into thin air?
Honestly, we could only pray!
