Hundreds Gather to Support Bar Owner Who Was Arrested For Opening Under NY Governor's Shutdown Orders
The owner of a New York City bar was arrested Tuesday after providing indoor services amid NY Governor Andrew Cuomo's lockdown orders.
Danny Presti, co-owner of Mac’s Public House on Staten Island, offered the services in an area that Cuomo had declared an "orange zone" due to a spike in coronavirus cases. Presti, however, had declared his area an "autonomous zone" in a mocking nod to the "autonomous zones" in the Seattle and Portland area.
Following Presti's arrest, hundreds of protesters gathered to show their support for freedom and the bar owner's rights to open and conduct business without fear of retaliation by government tyrants, chanting "USA, USA, USA!"
If only these people would have risen up to protest Cuomo's anti-life bill that allows children to be murdered in the womb all the way up to birth that he signed into law last year.
