GOP Faith and Power Super PAC Spends 2.4 Million on Pro-Democrat Television Ads

The Faith and Power Super PAC has been caught spending money promoting NC Democratic Senate Candidate Erica Smith it seems because they believe that she has a better chance of losing than the other four candidates running against Republican Thom Tillis in the upcoming election.

Democrat, Erica Smith disavowed the spending on her behalf by the Republicans stating that they are "not authorized" to represent her or her views in media or any other publishing format.

The Charlotte Observer reports the PAC as a "mystery group" stating that "the buy is significant in a primary that so far has only seen TV spending for Smith’s rival, Cal Cunningham."
