Now, Webb has now become a caricature of apostasy, trading his worship praises for the discordant anthems of secular activism—oh, and a dress.
His queer activism—such as dressing in drag alongside a cross-dressing drag queen at the Dove Awards—reveal a man who has not only abandoned his faith but now actively mocks the very beliefs he once professed.
Following the election earlier this week, Webb took to social media to scold evangelicals for their political involvement, accusing them of “using the devil’s tools” to secure influence.
