False Teacher of the Day #66: Daniel Duval and BRIDE Ministries International

I've been made aware of a ministry and a false teacher that I urgently feel the need to warn you about—a man whose sermons sound like they were ghostwritten by a schizophrenic conspiracy theorist with a bookshelf full of New Age pamphlets and UFO manuals.

His name is Daniel Duval, and he runs a spiritual circus called Bride Ministries International. This is neither a church nor a ministry. It's a theological dumping ground for every heretical impulse the hyper-charismatic movement ever unleashed onto the earth, all rolled into a neat little package and sold to you as "strategic equipping."

Duval bills himself as a “deliverance minister,” a man of prayer, a voice of revelation, and a teacher of deep spiritual truths. But what he's actually doing is peddling a cross between ancient Gnosticism, pagan elementalism, and the kind of mind-control conspiracy jargon you’d expect to hear whispered in an abandoned basement by a man wearing a tinfoil hat. And yet somehow, he's gotten thousands, perhaps millions, of spiritually gullible people to swallow his hallucinatory gospel like it was living water.

Let’s start with the basics. According to Daniel Duval, before Adam and Eve ever set foot in the garden, there existed a race of human spirits. These spirits—yes, apparently pre-humans without bodies—lived in a harmonious universe until Lucifer (whom Duval turns into the tragic protagonist of a cosmic opera) got a little cranky and launched a millennia-long celestial coup.

Some of these spirits, Duval claims, are now living in human bodies on earth but are suffering from “trauma” caused by their pre-Adamic war experiences. And as crazy as that sounds, according to Duval, we were traumatized in a cosmic dogfight with fallen angels before you were ever born, and now you need his deliverance prayers to remember it.
