David French, a sycophant to the progressive wing of the evangelical world, has shamelessly pandered to influential platforms—including Southern Seminary (SBTS) and liberal evangelical voices like Russell Moore. Yet, French's claim to Christianity is nothing more than a facade.
His relationships with self-proclaimed Evangelicals like Moore demonstrate a disturbing trend—an infiltration of theological compromise and progressive ideologies within certain influential circles.
French, who once held sway as a columnist for National Review, now routinely undermines conservativism, betraying not just conservatives, but the Church with a progressive agenda that embraces essentially every evil that the Bible rejects.
French's brand of pseudo-evangelicalism has found a welcoming home among those who seek to pervert the gospel with social justice rhetoric and leftist ideology. His support for drag queen story hours—infamously referring to them as a "blessing of liberty"—exemplifies his dereliction of duty as a man, particularly a “Christian” man.
French’s defense of “parental rights” in the context of genital mutilation for children—arguing that parents who want to abuse their children in this way should have the “right” to do so—is a grotesque distortion of conservative principles. His intellectual gymnastics in justifying such practices reveal a man more concerned with appeasing the radical left than clinging to the immutable truths of Scripture.
This pattern of compromise and betrayal is not limited to his stance on social issues. French's political commentary often reads like a manual for progressive socialist activism, all cloaked in the language of evangelical concern. He has consistently praised far-left Democrats, like Joe Biden for their "character," ignoring their ardent support for the endless and senseless killing of innocent children, as though they hold some sort of moral high ground to conservatives.
In his latest article, titled “Hulk Hogan Is Not the Only Way to Be a Man,” French proposes that the Democratic Party should counter the Republican “men’s night” with one of their own, featuring heroes instead of what he derogatorily terms “bullies and showmen.”
This idea is not only absurd but also reveals French's utter disconnect from reality. First, there are no actual men in the Democrat party—it’s the party of deranged feminists. How can a party that vigorously supports child sacrifice, homosexuality, socialism, and feminism embody a more authentic and honorable masculinity?
Such a suggestion is laughable and deeply confused.
Of course, “confused” is the natural state for leftists.
French begins by lamenting the so-called “Trumpist masculinity” displayed by such people like Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, and Dana White who were featured at the Republican National Convention. He criticizes their lifestyles while conveniently ignoring that these men, despite their faults—and yes, we do acknowledge they are sinful—actually do demonstrate natural male strength, resilience, and success. These are traits far removed from the unnatural and emasculating ideologies championed by the Democratic Party.
