CNN Says 80 Percent of White National Guard May Be "Insider Threat" Because They Voted for Trump

CNN is now peddling a dangerous and illegal conspiracy theory that the National Guard could actually be a threat to the upcoming inauguration because 80 percent of the white male members voted for Donald Trump.

The push to pin the political division and ills on the shoulders of white men in this country is nothing new. However, claiming that the National Guard is actually a danger to the security of this nation because the overwhelming majority supported Donald Trump is absurd.

Democrat U.S. Representative, Steve Cohen joined CNN to denounce the National Guard and claimed that they are being "vetted" for this threat as they prepare to secure the nation's capital during the inauguration on Wednesday. While the host did push back slightly, stating that just because one voted for Trump doesn't necessarily mean they are a threat, Cohen insisted that Trump supporters is where the "circle" needs to be drawn and the vetting needs to begin.

CNN decided to air this horse garbage anyways, making them complicit in this conspiracy theory.
