Hillsong's Carl Lentz Tells CNN that He May Be Open to Affirming Gays and Abortion in the Future
When the culture changes, why not change the Scriptures too? After all, the Word of God flows with the changing winds of culture, right?
Wrong.
But Hillsong pastor, Carl Lentz says that he's open to the idea that he and his church may shift views to accommodate the culture of abortion and homosexuality in the future. During an interview with CNN, Lentz was asked if he could see his church changing views in the future since there are so many people who are "turned off" from church because of conservative politics.
"Anything's possible," Lentz said, after saying he refuses to endorse political candidates.

I've always maintained that Hillsong is gay-affirming. The fact that Lentz answers with "anything's possible" proves that his god isn't the God of the Bible. While Hillsong may try to walk both sides of the aisle, they are certainly not biblical when it comes to views on homosexuality.
The Hillsong cult attracts people through entertainment and keeps them there by their addiction. They have it down to an exact science. They know what sells and they know what keeps customers. Whether it be their watered-down music, their nuanced affirmation of homosexuals, that they hold Roman Catholic masses, that they produce sleazy renditions of Silent Night during Christmas or pose a nearly naked man on stage at a women’s conference, that they defend abortion and complain about the death penalty, or that celebrities love them because they “don’t teach that book with Moses and stuff,” one thing is for sure, they know what the world — a world in rebellion to God — likes.
